Tell us about your work on antimicrobial resistance?
As the Professional lead for IPC i have a unique UK wide role as a nursing leader to enable the voice of nursing to contribute to local and national initiatives on IPC and AMR. I led the development of the RCN position paaper on the nursing contribution to AMR which outlines key areas where more can be done to support nurses and midwives as well as areas where we need to influence more activity on.
